The Zoo

This last week my mom and the boys and me went up to visit Julie and Mason. It was a lot of fun. We went to Park City to the outlets one day and then on Saturday we took the boys to Hogle Zoo. They absolutely loved it!!!!! Lancer would growl at the bears and pound on the window at the monkeys (especially the baboon) Wyatt would point and squeal. I think their favorite was the Tiger and her 3 babies. There was also a baby elephant and baby giraffe. Stinkin cute!!!!
Mason, Wyatt ans Lancer waiting to get into the zoo. It was a busy place!

Looking at the elephants

Can you see the gorilla?

I think we're looking at the giraffe's

This was the penguins, they would swim right under us. Wyatt would pull his hat right over his eyes and wouldn't let me touch it.

Then on Saturday night we went to Loa and visited with my Grandparents. It was a fun trip. Thanks Mom for the trip and for everything else. By the way guess how many times we had to clean up puke???? 3 times!!!!

Hallows Family Campout 2009

August 6-9 we went to our annual family reunion with my mom's side of the fam. We took our fifth wheel so it wasn't really camping for us and it was a good time. The boys were actually old enough this year they could really enjoy it.

The boys inside the little cabin

Wyatt being a bully and not letting Lancer in

Wyatt pushing Lancer around in a dump truck

Lancer's turn to push Wyatt around. They loved that thing. Good Christmas idea

So we took Morgan's welding truck and it is a single cab so Wyatt rode up with us and Lancer rode with Grandma and Grandpa. Grandma had just bought Wyatt this cowboy hat and he loves it and he wanted to wear it while we were driving. Well he got tuckered out and pulled it over his eyes and took a little siesta. It was so funny, he's holding his sippy cup too. He cracks me up!!

Mary Kay Seminar

On July 27-Aug 1 I was in Dallas, Texas to the annual Mary Kay Seminar. It was so fun and I learned a lot. They had different sessions where successful Mary Kay people would talk, and there were classes and booths and amazing award nights!!! It is so motivating to see all the prizes and recognition people get.

We went out to dinner one night as a unit and here are just a few of the people. The one standing next to me is Susan McCoy (my director). She has twins too

Here's me and a pink Cadillac- I want the Escalade though!!

We got to ride in a Limo to the awards night because we were all star consultants (which means we sold at least $1800 each quarter) The awards night could be described as the Academy awards and Miss America pageant combined.

Me and LaRonda Daigle. She is awesome and her unit sold over $150 million this past year. She's from Louisiana. Can you see the packed stadium behind me? (and there was another hall filled with people)

LaRonda being crowned Queen of Unit Sales.

All the women on stage with plaques are multi-millionaires with their Mary Kay business

There were all sorts of performances throughout the seminar and this is Jasmine Murray from American Idol. During awards night we got to be on the floor 5 rows back from the stage because our unit achieved circle of excellence (which means we sold over$650,000) so it was so cool to be so close to the action. It was a lot of fun and I'm definitely going again next year.

Fun in the Sun

Last week we went to Lowry Ruins on a field trip with some friends. It's kinda stressful to take the boys somewhere when I don't have a lot of help but it is good for them to get out and be around other people. Luckily Merlene Lanier helped with Wyatt after he started throwing a fit. After that we had a picnic and ran threw the sprinklers although Wyatt and Lancer spent the majority of the time in Duane Laniers Kubota! I'm telling ya, those boys LOVE steering wheels.

Morgan was rolling a sideroll back so I took the boys outside to watch and they had quite the time playing in the bean plants.

For the 4th of July we went up in the mountains and had a picnic with Morgan's family. Tammy and Tommy brought horses and Wyatt and Lancer had there first horse ride. Wyatt wasn't too sure at first but Lancer loved it! We got eaten up by mosquitos.

So the other day I was reading on the couch and Wyatt and Lancer walk out of their room holding hands. It was so stinkin cute and I kept following them around trying to get a good picture of it. Some times they are so nice to each other and get along and other days they are so awnery and bite the heck out of each other. Typical boys I suppose.

Catch Up

Well things have slowed down again. The family reunion was a lot of fun. All my siblings were able to come(except Josh). We went to Purgatory and stayed in a condo for 3 days. While we were there we went to Durango and went to the Bar D Chuckwagon, which is a western show and dinner. There was a little train that the boys rode on and they had a ball. Aunt Deanne and Uncle Adam took them on it.

Family photo while we were at the Bar D

We also went to Silverton and watched the train come in. The boys screamed!!! Then we headed to Ouray and sat in the hot springs. Wyatt and Lancer LOVED it. Morgan had fun too going down the water slides. I even went down once! We also went to the mall in Durango and played Put put golf in Purgatory. The golfing was kinda a lost cause because Wyatt and Lancer kept picking up the golf balls and wouldn't let us use the clubs.

My little golfer

At the mall, these kids love steering wheels!!!!

Then the day after we got home, I headed to Girls camp for 4 days. It was at Chris park north of Durango. It was actually only like 15 minutes from where we just had the family reunion! It was a good time. Alesa Reed and I were the camp leaders over all the 12 year olds in the stake. There were 19 girls. Alesa brought her dads camper so we stayed warm and cozy. There was a little drama but I guess thats to be expected with a bunch of hormonal 12 year olds. It is a lot more fun to be a leader at girls camp!!! I forgot to take the camera so no pictures.

Momma's Boys

I found this cool thing that says who your kids look like the most and....both my boys look more like me. I couldn't find very good pictures of Morgan and me so i might have to try it again when I get some better pictures. I personally think they both look more like their dad!
