Long Overdue Update

Well I am finally updating my blog. It has been a busy couple months! I am now working for Dixie Leavitt Insurance Agency.I took a property/casualty course online and passed the insurance state licensing exam !!! Yay I'm now officially licensed to sell insurance in Colorado and Utah (so far)! So that has been keeping me busy. I'm very excited for this new challenge! Here are just some random pictures from the past while.

Cousins! Wyatt, Mason, and Lancer hanging out when Julie came to visit. In just a little while Mason will have a little brother to add to the party: ) My mom says she'll have her own basketball team when all the grand kids are together!

Me and my Lancer bear hanging out at grandma's house.

I walked into the living room and Lancer had dressed up. I think he gets that from me, I use to play dress up all the time when I was little. He's such a little business man with his hat and tie and newspaper!

Wyatt found him a comfortable place to watch tv! The laundry basket filled with pillows. He did this all on his own! I couldn't stop laughing when I saw this.

Lancer wanted to get in the picture too!

So this was the first day it had been dry enough and somewhat warm enough to play outside. The boys had fun digging in the dirt and Kelby had fun playing in the mud! He was covered from head to toe by the time we were done.

I was having some cabin fever, so I decided to take the boys down to the river and have a picnic. They had fun throwing rocks and watching the geese and of course digging in the dirt. I'm sure we'll spend a lot of time there this summer trying to keep these boys entertained!

December

I am finally getting pics of Christmas on here. Christmas Eve we went over to Grandma and Grandad Oliver's and had a great time with that side of the family. Then Christmas Morning was at Grandma and Grandpa Christensen's. Next year I am going to remember my camera at Grandma Oliver's so I can actually get some pictures!!!
Here is Wyatt and Lancer in their matching jammies from Grandma Christensen

This is all 4 of my mom's grandsons: Lancer, Wyatt, Stetson, Mason

As many of you know, my dad is very talented and he made the grand kids a barn and fences and then they got a bunch of farm animals and equipment! Sooo fun!!!

It was a great Christmas.

After Christmas we got hit by a snow storm and it snowed constantly for 3 days. The boys had some fun in it, until their hands got cold.
Wyatt walked outside and the first thing he did was lay in the snow. Which is total opposite of last year when he would cry as soon as we walked outside!

Lancer attempting to make a snowman and Wyatt supervising.

My Lancer Man in his snow suit.

I love this picture of Wyatt. He was crying cause his hands were cold and I told him as soon as I took a picture he could go in so he pulled out this grin!

We had the annual Hallows family Christmas Party on New Years Day this year and it was fun as always. We played minute to win it games (like on tv) and it was so entertaining.
Here are Lancer and Wyatt putting M&M's in the right color of cup. Wyatt did great and got almost all of them right. Lancer ate more than he put in the cups!!

Then there was the pinata!

Wyatt thought the "robot" was his and kept sneaking over during the party and hitting it with a ping pong paddle!

The boys also wanted to join in the jump roping, so Lisa was nice enough to help me out.

The boys sure looked sharp in their new clothes.

I took this picture out the back door one evening. The picture doesn't do it justice. A beautiful Colorado sunset.... in January!

3 Years Old Already!!!

Wyatt and Lancer turned 3 years old on November 23! I can't believe my little men are getting so big! We had Morgan's family over for dinner and cake for the boys and Morgan's birthday. It was a lot of fun.

Grandma Oliver made the boys this Lion Cake. Lancer is obsessed with Lions since he was a Lion for Halloween! Wyatt kept asking where his zebra cake was.

Opening Presents. Thanks for all the gifts everyone. These boys sure are spoiled!!

Lancer and Wyatt with their new coats. I actually let the boys wear them before their birthday because it snowed and then wrapped them up again. They were kinda confused when they opened them!

Morgan and I also got the boys these sleeping bags that stuff into a backpack and the boys love them. Lancer is going through a phase where he wants to sleep on the couch. I'll put him in his bed but before the night is through he will end up on the couch with his sleeping bag. We went over to my parents the next day and hung out with them but I forgot to bring my camera so no pics. The boys sure had fun and thanks for everything mom and dad.

For a young Woman Activity we went to the Mesa Verde Luminaries (I think that's how you spell it) on Dec 9. It was pretty cool. I've never been up there during the luminaries but it was super crowded since it's only a one day thing. I'm glad Michelle knew where she was going because I haven't been up there in years and plus it was dark. I would have definitely got lost. I tried to take some pic of the ruins but none of them turned out.

Here we are with the young women.

The Young women Presidency.Trena, Michelle, and Me. We are missing Amanda, she ended up getting lost. Like I said, glad I had Michelle, or I would have gotten lost and just given up and went home!

This picture is hilarious. We were trying to get a pic of all of us and this lady walked right in front of the camera! Isn't that hat awesome!!!!

Deer Hunt and Duane's Farewell

Here are some photos from the busy weekend. I am terrible at taking pictures so I had my camera with me all the time and I got some pretty funny pictures!!!

Julie and I made these moose cupcakes. I think they turned out pretty dang cute!

Wyatt sure liked them

Mmmm Lancer liked them too!

This kid cracks me up

Hahaha-This is totally going to be the picture I put in Wyatt's High School year book his senior year!!! What a DoRk!

Here is Lancer and his nerf shotgun-he wanted to go hunting too!

Uncle Todd got a deer Saturday night. Here are the boys checking it out! Mason just hopped right on, as you can tell he was not afraid at all. Lancer kept saying "It's not getting up, it's sleeping!"

Morgan got his deer the last morning of the hunt. He didn't want any pictures of him so here are Lancer and Mason with their dad's deer. I bet these 2 will be hunting together before I know it!!

Duane's mission farewell was Sunday. Here is Duane with his sisters. Duane and I are only 18 months apart. I'm going to miss him and I know he's where he should be, but my heart aches just a little cause I won't get to see him. He'll do great though!

Me and the boys before church!

My best friend Julie-thanks for watching the boys Julie while I was cooking!

Hmmm.....maybe not the best time to be playing with a tape measure Wyatt!

It was a really fun weekend and it was great to see everyone!!

November

So November is a busy month for us! Duane's mission farewell is this weekend and my family came down. It' s been fun seeing all the relatives! It's crazy to think that he is leaving on Tuesday and I won't see him for 2 years! My boys are sure going to miss him. I also went and cooked for Cory's hunting camp for almost a week this past week. It was a good time. Those Alabama boys were a lot of fun .Cory says I can cook next year so I will be looking forward to that. Wyatt and Lancer's birthday is on the 23 and Morgan's is on the 30th! So super busy. I thought it would be fun to see how the boys have grown these past 3 years!

Here are Wyatt and Lancer in my BIG belly about a month before they were born. I even got bigger than this but it was not a pretty picture!

Lancer and Wyatt about a month old
