Update

A quick update, The job ended in Grand Junction and we moved back to Cortez on January 11th. Morgan is welding in the fab shop in Cortez for the same company (Jacobs) he was working for in Grand Junction. It is a different type of welding so he had to take another test to get this job, but he passed with flying colors,Yay!!!! It is nice to be back home close to family. We are hoping the work in the fab shop will keep us busy for a while so we can kinda settle down. We're wanting to start building our house this spring. Wyatt and Lancer are doing good. They are such a riot. The other day I was changing Lancer's diaper and Wyatt walks right over and pinches Lancer on the butt. And yesterday I was watching Wyatt bob for his binky. He would throw it on the floor and then bend down or get on his belly and pick it up with his mouth. Where do they learn these things?? Here are some pictures from the last month or so.

We went out to our friend Suzanne's house on Monday and had a snow day. It was lots of fun. We played in the snow, had PB&J's, and decorated cookies. It's fun to play with other kids.

It was a nice day and we decided to take advantage of it. Morgan was pulling the boys around on their four wheeler. They thought it was the coolest thing. Notice Morgan's welding rig in the background, he made sure it was in the shots. He's so proud of Maria-that's his truck!

Here are some pictures of my goofy boys. They like to get into trouble with each other. Notice how Lancer is turning the TV on and off while Wyatt is keeping watch. Too much fun!

My Little Men

I finally got the boys 1 year portraits done and I'm only a couple months late! Wyatt and Lancer are 14 months now. They are tons of fun, they play with each other... but mostly fight with each other! I just love being able to stay at home with them and getting to see all the silly stuff they do. I'm laughing constantly. Here are a few pictures of my little men. They got their pictures taken at Walmart and the photographer did a really good job! The boys were actually smiling in the pictures-which surprises me because I thought they would be throwing a fit the whole time! My boys are so cute!

Christmas

Daddy helping the boys swing at the pinata

Daddy taking the boys sleding

My boys at their new picnic table & playing with their Oliver Tractors (the only time they will ever play with them)

Christmas was a lot of fun this year. The boys actually tore some of the wrapping paper. We spent Christmas eve with Morgan's family and Christmas day with mine. Wyatt and Lancer got a lot of fun things, and so did Morgan and me!!! It was a white Christmas. The boys got to try out their new snow suits and sled. Wyatt was happy as long as somebody was pulling him around. Lancer just wasn't having any of it. Maybe when it snows again he won't be so scared. They did look awful cute in their snow suits though. We went to the Hallow's family Christmas party on Saturday. It is always a good time. Wyatt and Lancer both swung at the pinata this year. We'll have to practice swinging a bat so next year they can break it!!! Well 2008 was a good year and hopefully this next year will be even better.

On the Road Again

Well we are in Grand Junction now. Morgan took a welding test for Jacob's in Cortez last Thursday and passed (yay) and they told him he had to be in GJ by Friday at 7. So here we are. It happens so quick, I'm getting good at packing on short notice. I like it so far. There is lots of shopping. We bought a laptop for Christmas. I love it. Cami and Justin are here until January, so at least I have 1 friend for now. I feel bad for Morgan he has to drive almost 3 hours to and from work each day. The job is actually above Parachute, Co but the West Junction rv park was the closest one I could find that had any open spots. They say this is only suppose to be a 2 month job, but who knows. It's been snowing almost everyday since we got here so they don't get much done. But i guess we'll see.

Birthday Boys

Wyatt and Lancer are 1 year old!!! How crazy is that? I can remember not too long ago when I was a blimp and about to pop. Now my little boys aren't so little anymore. We had a party for them at their Aunt Tammy's house. It was a combined party with their cousin Kenna. She just had a birthday too. Lots of fun. Morgan and I gave them Tickle Me Elmo chairs that Lancer just loves. When you sit in them, it shakes and laughs. We also got them some CAT construction toys. Grandma and Grandad Oliver gave them these cute miniature red wagons and some clothes. Grandma and Grandpa Christensen gave them some bath toys and they have another present coming next week from them. They also received some clothes and other toys from their aunts and uncles. Lancer got after his cake. He was shoveling it in his mouth. Wyatt was too occupied with the candle (we didn't light it but put it in anyway) They were kinda grouchy because they didn't get a nap, but I guess you live and learn and we'll know better next year.

Future Hunters

I found these cute camo hats at Cabelas and I just couldn't help but buy them. My little Wyatt loves to wear hats and tries to put them on. Lancer's not so fond but he might come around. Their dad dressed them that day-long sleeve shirts with shorts-but I appreciate the help. Then Aunt Julie came to visit and she bought an outfit for her soon to be boy and Wyatt & Lancer tried it on to see if it would fit. My little hunters.

Crazy Pipeliners

Morgan took these pictures at work. I guess these guys were trying to pull a pipe out of the ground. It doesn't look too safe to me.
